Your homework is to draft your individual written assignment for the trial. You will have an opportunity to revise and edit it tomorrow with your group, but in order to do that, you must bring a complete draft with you to class.
Your assignment is different depending on your role in the trial. Click HERE for a list of all of the roles in the trial and the names of the people assigned to each role.

Historians
- As a historian, you are an expert about the past. Your job is to explain your viewpoint of Columbus based on historical facts . You can use information from the primary sources, the textbook, class notes, the documentaries to support your viewpoint.
- Read the "Point-Counterpoint" section on page 2 of the reading packet that you used for last Thursday's homework (The Impact of Columbus's Voyages). It provides two opposing viewpoints on Columbus. Use this to get ideas about how you will present your testimony.
