Finish annotated map of "Religion in the Middle Ages"

Use the MAPS on pages 14, 16, and 22 in the textbook to help you complete this assignment.

Assignment Directions:

1) Draw a map of Europe, Africa, and Asia.

2) Create a color-key to show which areas were Christian and which areas were Muslim.

3) Draw, label, and annotate these features:

• Jerusalem

• The Crusades (draw major routes)

• The Renaissance (hint: the Renaissance began in Italy)



4) Add TITLE: Religion in the Middle Ages, 500-1500
5 ) On the back of your map, write a THESIS that answers this question: How and why did religious conflict during the Middle Ages lead to major changes in Europe?
