HW#1 - 9/10/09

Your first homework assignment is to write a letter introducing yourself to me. Your letter should be at least one page long if typed, or two pages if hand written.


Here are some questions to get your started.  Feel free to write about as many as you like:

• Who are you?  Where are you from?  Where is your family from?
  
•  What are your hopes for the school year?  What are you looking forward to?  What worries you?
  
• What did you enjoy about school last year? What was hard or unpleasant? What do you want to work on this year? What did you like and/or dislike about your past history classes?
  
• What do you hope to learn or do in class this year?
  
• How do you learn best? What I can do as a teacher to help you learn?
  
•  Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
  
• Anything else you would like to tell me
